This quarterly publication of the California Reading Association serves as the voice of literacy educators for students in pre-school through adulthood. The exchange of current theory, research, and practice regarding language arts is combined with news of particular interest to teachers and parents. Manuscripts must be typewritten, double-spaced (maximum of nine pages) and follow guidelines used in APA or The Reading Teacher. Manuscripts may be submitted electronically (moorek@csus.edu). If hard copy is preferred, the manuscripts may be submitted in triplicate with a stamped, self-addressed envelope for return correspondence. Each copy should have the complete title on page 1 of the text, but no identification of the author or affiliation should appear in the title. A cover letter is needed giving the title, author's professional affiliation and complete address (including home and work phone numbers; email address).
